The AC128 Excel Pro Grip is Yonex's answer for players who want a direct, firm grip feel with excellent tackiness. Synthetic Leather PU material with a perforated surface – extra firm compared to many other PU base grips, better sweat absorption through the perforations, soft playing feel despite the firm texture. At 1.6mm thick the edges of the racket handle are clearly felt – ideal for players who want maximum control and direct feedback from their racket. Strongly adhesive back with double-sided tape. Colour: black. Contents: 1 piece.

What distinguishes the AC128 from the better-known AC102 Super Grap is its character: the AC102 is an overgrip – thin, flexible, wound over the base grip. The AC128 is a full base grip that goes directly onto the grip core. It is more durable, firmer and gives the racket the feel of a freshly gripped, professionally prepared racket. The perforated surface allows air circulation beneath the tape and absorbs moisture without becoming sticky or uncomfortable. The double-sided adhesive strip on the back holds the tape reliably in position – a quality feature that is not to be taken for granted.
