The Yonex AC381 Cushion Wrap is not a grip tape – it is the cushion tape that goes underneath. Wound directly onto the grip core, then your base grip or overgrip on top as usual: grip size can be adjusted precisely to your preference in seconds. Grip too thin? Wind one layer of AC381. Too direct? Two layers for more cushioning. The 30-metre roll provides many wraps and makes the AC381 the permanent solution for anyone who wants to control their own grip size. Available in black, red and yellow. Width: 70mm.

The key difference from grip tape: the AC381 has no grippy surface and is never wound as the outermost layer – it serves exclusively as a cushioning and volume tape under the actual grip tape. Players who regularly re-grip their racket and want to adjust grip size in the process, those who need a thicker grip after an injury or anyone who has simply never been happy with their grip size will find the AC381 Cushion Wrap exactly right. The soft polyurethane material provides light cushioning and winds cleanly and evenly without slipping.
