Yonex BG80 Limited Edition – performance string in exclusive colours
The Yonex BG80 Limited Edition combines the proven performance of the standard BG80 with four distinctive colour options. Choose from Sky Blue, Royal Blue, Black or Violet to match the string bed to your racket design or create a deliberate contrast.
Technically, the Limited Edition remains a performance-oriented 0.68 mm badminton string. Its Vectran™-reinforced multifilament core and slightly textured oval-braided surface support direct feedback, accurate placement and powerful attacking shots.
Playing feel and characteristics
The BG80 provides a hard and clearly defined response. Shuttle contact is easy to sense, allowing technically skilled players to control the impact point and place their strokes accurately.
The textured surface provides additional grip for sliced drops, stop shots and tight net exchanges. At the same time, the string offers enough repulsion for fast drives, attacking clears and powerful smashes.
Its 0.68 mm gauge provides a useful balance between performance and resistance. It is more robust than ultra-thin strings while remaining more direct and responsive than traditional 0.70 mm durability strings.

Who should choose the Yonex BG80 Limited Edition?
The BG80 Limited Edition is particularly suitable for advanced recreational players, club players and competitive players who prefer a direct string bed with excellent control. It suits attacking all-round players, fast doubles specialists and players who place their shots deliberately.
The limited colours are also ideal for players who want to customise the appearance of their racket. Those looking for an especially soft and forgiving response may prefer a softer string. Players focused mainly on maximum durability should consider a thicker 0.70 mm option.
Our recommendation
We recommend the Yonex BG80 Limited Edition to players who want to combine the familiar BG80 performance with a distinctive racket appearance. It offers a strong combination of control, direct feedback, smash power and four unusual colour choices.
Unsure about the right colour, string or tension? We will be happy to help you select a stringing setup suited to your racket, playing level and preferred playing feel.
