Yonex BG66 Force – thin badminton string for powerful attacking shots
The Yonex BG66 Force is a performance-oriented badminton string for players looking for high repulsion, rapid shuttle acceleration and direct feedback. Its 0.65 mm gauge responds quickly at impact and supports powerful clears, drives and smashes.
The high-polymer nylon multifilament core combines elasticity with a clearly defined response. A special nylon coating stabilises the surface and supports controlled performance during fast and attacking rallies.
Playing feel and characteristics
The BG66 Force provides a firm and responsive playing feel. The shuttle leaves the string bed quickly, helping attacking players generate pace and apply additional pressure with their strokes.
At the same time, the string provides good control for accurate clears, drives and targeted attacking shots. Its thin gauge delivers refined feedback but benefits from comparatively sound hitting technique.
As with thin badminton strings, the focus is more on performance than maximum durability. Players with frequent off-centre hits or very high string wear should therefore consider a thicker string.

Important: At 0.65 mm, the BG66 Force is relatively thin and therefore more sensitive to off-centre hits than thicker strings. The maximum permitted stringing tension of the badminton racket must also always be observed.
Who should choose the Yonex BG66 Force?
The BG66 Force is particularly suitable for advanced recreational players, club players and competitive players with sound technique. It appeals to attacking players who want to accelerate the shuttle early and dominate with fast drives, powerful clears and heavy smashes.
Fast all-round players also benefit from its strong combination of power and control. Beginners with frequent off-centre hits or players with especially high string wear will usually find a thicker string more economical.
Our recommendation
We recommend the Yonex BG66 Force to players who prefer a firm, fast and attack-oriented string bed. It offers strong repulsion and clear feedback and is particularly suitable for dynamic attacking badminton.
