Yonex AEROBITE BOOST – durable hybrid string for control and comfort
The Yonex AEROBITE BOOST is a performance hybrid setup for players who want to combine excellent control, pronounced shuttle grip and a more stable playing response. It uses two different string gauges that are specifically assigned to the mains and crosses.
The 0.72 mm main string creates the robust foundation of the string bed. It provides greater stability and durability than the thinner main string used in standard AEROBITE. The 0.61 mm cross string retains a fast response and precise feedback at contact.
The 200-metre version contains 105 metres of main string and 95 metres of cross string. It is particularly suitable for clubs, competitive players and professional stringers who regularly install the original AEROBITE BOOST hybrid combination.
Playing feel and characteristics
AEROBITE BOOST provides a medium-to-hard response but feels less uncompromising than standard AEROBITE. The thicker main string stabilises the string bed and creates a slightly more comfortable and forgiving response.
The grippy surface supports sliced drops, stop shots, precise net strokes and controlled placement. The shuttle can be guided accurately, while the thin cross string provides a quick reaction and enough speed for drives and attacking shots.
Its main strength is the combination of control, stability and improved string life. Compared with standard AEROBITE, the BOOST version provides more security and is better suited to players who enjoy hybrid performance but do not want to restring as frequently.
AEROBITE BOOST is still not a pure durability string. Because the cross string measures only 0.61 mm, it remains more sensitive to damaged grommets, off-centre contact and improper stringing than uniform 0.68 or 0.70 mm strings.

Who should choose Yonex AEROBITE BOOST?
AEROBITE BOOST is particularly suitable for advanced club and competitive players with sound technique. It suits players who build points through precise placement, sliced strokes, controlled net play and varied changes of pace.
Singles players benefit from its stable feedback on clears, drops and controlled attacking shots. In doubles, the hybrid supports quick drives, short serves, blocks and early contact around the net.
Compared with standard AEROBITE, it is especially attractive to players seeking more durability, stability and comfort. The thicker main string makes the string bed less delicate and gives it a more solid character.
The 200-metre version is economical for clubs, players with several rackets and professional stringing services. Beginners and players with frequent frame contact will still generally be better served by a robust uniform string.
Our recommendation
We recommend Yonex AEROBITE BOOST to players and stringers who want to combine the shuttle grip and precise control of a hybrid setup with greater durability and comfort. It is the more practical AEROBITE option for regular club play and frequent stringing.
For the intended performance, the main and cross components should be installed in the correct orientation by an experienced stringer.
