The Yonex AC221 Leather Grip is not an alternative to a PU grip tape – it is an entirely different category. Anyone who has played with a high-quality leather grip knows: no synthetic tape gives the same direct, dry and controllable playing feel. 100% genuine leather, self-adhesive, 1.4mm thin. Maximum feedback from the racket, exceptional durability, timeless material. Available in black and brown. Contents: 1 piece.

The decisive difference is the playing feel. PU grips cushion – that is pleasant, but it costs racket feedback. Leather barely cushions – every touch of the shuttle, every vibration of the frame, every nuance of the contact point is transmitted directly to the hand.
