What is VICTOR New Carbonsonic?

The New Carbonsonic range uses carbon-fibre composite stems, a composite cork head and synthetic feather elements. This separates NCS shuttlecocks from conventional feather models and basic nylon shuttlecocks with a one-piece skirt.

The construction is designed to provide stable flight, solid impact feel and good durability while avoiding natural feathers completely.

Flight and impact feel

New Carbonsonic construction is designed to accelerate and decelerate more like a feather shuttlecock than a conventional nylon model. The individual synthetic feather elements help the shuttle align after impact and maintain a predictable trajectory.

The NCS Max uses reinforced professional aerodynamic synthetic feathers. Within the NCS range, it therefore places the strongest emphasis on flight stability, consistent deceleration and competition-level performance.

It remains a synthetic shuttlecock, so differences in sound, feedback and playing feel may still be noticeable compared with a premium natural-feather shuttlecock.

Durability in training

Synthetic feather elements resist repeated impacts and cannot fray in exactly the same way as natural feathers. This makes the NCS range particularly interesting for regular and intensive training.

Actual service life still depends on playing intensity, contact quality and hall conditions. Replace the shuttlecock when it is visibly damaged, begins to wobble or its speed and trajectory change significantly.

Choosing speed 77 or 78

NCS Max is offered in speeds 77 and 78. The suitable version depends on hall temperature, air density, playing level and personal preference.
