VICTOR VBS-66N – balanced 200 m reel for power and control
The VICTOR VBS-66N is a versatile performance badminton string for players who want to combine rapid shuttle acceleration, precise control and dependable durability. Its 0.66 mm gauge provides a balanced middle ground between thin speed strings and thicker durability-oriented options.
Its high elasticity creates a quick response at impact and supports dynamic drives, deep clears and powerful attacking shots. At the same time, the string offers a medium and comfortably direct response that also works well for controlled drops, blocks and net shots.
The 200-metre reel is particularly suitable for clubs, coaches, frequent players and professional stringing services. Depending on racket head size, stringing pattern and the amount of string used, it will generally provide approximately 20 complete badminton racket restringings.
Playing feel and characteristics
The VBS-66N provides a medium, elastic and clearly defined response. It feels livelier than conventional 0.70 mm durability strings without being as delicate as ultra-thin competition strings between 0.58 and 0.63 mm.
Its excellent resilience supports fast rallies and effective shuttle acceleration. The string performs especially well on drives, attacking clears, counters and quick offensive strokes.
The string bed also remains easy to control. Accurate placement, drops, short serves and net shots benefit from its clear feedback, making the VBS-66N suitable for all-round and doubles players as well as attacking specialists.
At 0.66 mm, the string provides solid resistance for a performance-oriented model. Players with frequent off-centre contact or particularly high string wear may nevertheless prefer a thicker option such as the VBS-70.

Important: The maximum permitted stringing tension of the badminton racket must always be observed. Damaged grommets should be replaced before restringing, as they can cause even a durable string to break prematurely.
Who should choose the VICTOR VBS-66N?
The VBS-66N is suitable for advanced recreational players, club players and competitive players looking for a versatile string bed for attack, defence and controlled net play. It works particularly well for fast all-round and doubles players.
Players with medium to fast swing speeds benefit from its elasticity and quick recovery. This creates effective shuttle acceleration without producing an excessively hard string-bed response.
The VBS-66N is also an attractive standard option for stringers and clubs because it suits a broad range of players. Its combination of power, control and solid durability makes it a dependable recommendation for many technically competent players.
Players seeking maximum speed and more refined feedback may prefer the VBS-63 or VBS-58N. Those with especially high string wear will generally find the thicker VBS-70 more economical.
Our recommendation
We recommend the VICTOR VBS-66N to players and stringers looking for a balanced performance string with excellent elasticity, strong control and practical durability. It is a reliable all-round choice for training, club play and competition.
