VICTOR VBS-66N – balanced badminton string for speed and control

The VICTOR VBS-66N is a versatile badminton string for players looking for a balanced combination of shuttle speed, control and durability. Its 0.66 mm diameter places it between ultra-thin speed strings and thicker durability-oriented strings.

The medium feel and high elasticity provide a lively response at impact. The string supports fast drives, accurate placement and powerful clears without feeling extremely soft or particularly hard.

Playing feel and characteristics

The VBS-66N offers a balanced and direct playing feel. Its strong elasticity helps accelerate the shuttle quickly, while the controlled feedback supports precise shot placement.

At 0.66 mm, it provides more durability than very thin 0.63 mm strings while remaining more dynamic and responsive than many thicker models. This makes it particularly suitable for all-round players, club players and fast doubles specialists.

Who should choose the VICTOR VBS-66N?

The VBS-66N is suitable for recreational, club and competitive players who want a versatile string for different playing situations. It is particularly well suited to players who use fast drives in doubles, play accurately at the net and still want sufficient acceleration from the rear court.

All-round players also benefit from its balanced characteristics. Players looking for maximum durability should choose a thicker string. Those who prefer an especially crisp and extremely direct response may be better served by a thinner or firmer string.

Our recommendation

We recommend the VICTOR VBS-66N to players who do not want to commit exclusively to pure power, maximum control or the highest possible durability. It offers an excellent middle ground and is therefore a reliable all-round string for training, club play and competition.

Unsure about the right string or tension? We will be happy to help you select a stringing setup suited to your racket, playing level and preferred playing feel.
