Does the Thruster RAPTOR C suit your game?
A suitable choice for: players with sound basic technique who build their game around active overhead strokes and switch between clears, drops and smashes. The RAPTOR C is particularly interesting if you like to feel the racket head during your swing but deliberately want only a slightly head-heavy setup. Its combination of 4U weight and a stiff shaft is an option for singles as well as attacking doubles play.
Less suitable if: you prefer a flexible beginner's racket, a distinctly head-light balance or an ultralight model. A stiff shaft is not automatically the better choice: what matters is whether its firm response suits your stroke movement and timing.
What makes the Thruster RAPTOR C stand out
Stiff 6.5 mm shaft with PYROFIL: High Resilience Modulus Graphite and PYROFIL form the material construction of the slim 6.5 SHAFT. PYROFIL is a lightweight, high-performance carbon fibre with shock-absorbing properties. The RAPTOR C pairs this material combination with a stiff shaft setup for players who prefer firm, direct feedback.
TRI-FORMATION frame: Different frame structures are deliberately combined to coordinate the characteristics of individual frame sections. The construction brings different profiles together within one racket head rather than using the same cross-section throughout.
HARD CORED TECHNOLOGY and NANO TEC: HARD CORED TECHNOLOGY complements the graphite frame with a multilayered structure of carbon fibres and composite materials. NANO TEC distributes nanoparticles in the spaces between carbon-fibre bundles. The technology is designed to increase composite stiffness and reduce unwanted frame distortion.
FREE CORE and SEVEN SIX 76: The injection-moulded FREE CORE handle construction gives the shaft more freedom of movement inside the handle and supports a smooth swing. The SEVEN SIX 76 grommet system completes the specification. You can adjust the G5 grip circumference to your hand with a suitable grip wrap.
