VICTOR Advanced – a short children's racket for getting started with badminton

Making contact with the shuttle, practising a first serve and discovering badminton together: the VICTOR Advanced is a beginner racket for children with an overall length of 53 cm and a considerably shortened shaft. Its short children's grip and teardrop-shaped head define the compact construction of this VICTOR badminton racket. The Advanced comes factory strung and ready to play – without a cover.

Is the VICTOR Advanced right for your child?

A suitable choice for: children discovering badminton who need a short racket for basic technique exercises and first rallies. What matters is that your child can hold this 53 cm model comfortably and move it with control, whether playing with the family or taking part in a supervised beginner group.

Less suitable if: your child still needs a considerably shorter racket or already handles a longer junior model confidently. The model name "Advanced" does not replace an individual size assessment: this is a children's beginner racket, not a full-sized competition model.

What makes the VICTOR Advanced stand out

Considerably shortened shaft: The short design keeps the distance between the hand and racket head smaller than on a full-length adult racket. When the size suits the child, this can make judging contact with the shuttle and learning the first stroke movements easier.

Short children's grip: The grip is designed for children to handle. When trying the racket, your child should be able to hold it comfortably without needing to grip it excessively tightly.

Aluminium frame and steel shaft: VICTOR combines these materials with a teardrop-shaped head. The pre-fitted multifilament synthetic string is included, so there is no need to choose separate stringing before the first use.

The right length matters – not age alone

Consider your child's height, hand size, coordination and previous playing experience. Your child should be able to move the racket with control. For children attending regular training, their coach's assessment can help before moving to a longer model.

First technique exercises and shared rallies

A shuttle fed from nearby, a practised serve or several gentle contacts in a row: start with manageable exercises suited to your child's stage of development. Controlled contact matters more at the beginning than high hitting speed or playing a complete match.
