VICTOR A970cHP C – cushioning and midfoot support in black
A cushioned step and a supportive midfoot construction:
the VICTOR A970cHP C combines a HYPEREVA midsole
with a 7 mm NitroLite insole and an extra-thick
carbon plate. It is an option for players who want to combine
comfort and support during training and matches. Light-blue
sole accents complement the black upper.
Size and fit: understanding V-SHAPE 2.5
Standard width with a more tapered forefoot – not a Wide version.
V-SHAPE describes a shape that narrows towards the toes. Check
toe room and heel hold as well as the size number. Pressure
at the sides does not reliably tell you that all you need
is a longer shoe.
Open the sizing guide directly above the size selector
for the VICTOR EU/CM chart and measuring instructions. Use the label
markings in existing shoes for comparison; a blanket recommendation
to order one size larger does not replace checking the fit.
Try on the shoes with the supplied insoles
First try on both shoes with the supplied 7 mm NitroLite insoles
and your sports socks. Set your heels back, lace evenly and
check the fit while standing. Your toes should not press against
the front. Take a few careful steps on a clean floor: your heels
should feel held in place and your feet should not slide
noticeably forwards or sideways. Different or additional
insoles can change the available space and fit.
Key features of the A970cHP C
HYPEREVA and NitroLite – two separate comfort elements
HYPEREVA provides cushioning in the midsole. Above it, the 7 mm
NitroLite insole adds an elastic layer directly underfoot. In this
model, NitroLite refers to the insole, not the midsole.
Extra-thick carbon plate – midfoot reinforcement
Carbon Power reinforces the sole construction and increases
resistance to twisting. The extra-thick midfoot plate is a key
feature of this version, with TPU and Solid EVA completing
the construction.
LS-S and V-Durable+ – lateral support and abrasion protection
LS-S supports the outer forefoot with a TPU reinforcement.
V-Durable+ strengthens the inner toe area against abrasion.
Double Mesh complements the microfiber PU leather upper
for ventilation.
VSR rubber outsole – court grip
The rubber outsole is designed for grippy contact when stopping,
pushing off and changing direction.
Also suitable for squash:
the A970cHP C can also be used as an indoor squash shoe.
