The key difference between an overgrip and a base grip: a base grip sits directly on the grip core and makes the handle significantly thicker – an overgrip is wound additionally on top. The Oliver Overgrip at 0.6mm is so thin that it barely changes grip size – ideal for players who want to keep their familiar grip but refresh the grip surface. Fresh overgrip immediately gives more control and more secure handling. Wound tightly and overlapping it holds reliably – only the start has a small adhesive strip. Since overgrips are thinner and subjected to more wear they should be changed regularly – with 60 pieces in the box, no problem.
