Areas of expertise
Badminton rackets
Selection by weight, balance, shaft flexibility, playing level, technique and preferred playing style.
Strings and stringing
Advice on gauge, feel, durability, control, power, tension retention and suitable string tension.
Shoes and equipment
Assessment of fit, stability, cushioning, grip and suitable equipment for training, club play and tournaments.
How Racket World recommendations are made
A specialist recommendation is not based only on price or a product’s position within a manufacturer’s range. The player’s actual requirements and the interaction of product characteristics are decisive.
- playing level and previous experience,
- singles, doubles and preferred tactical direction,
- racket weight, balance and shaft flexibility,
- string type and suitable tension,
- handling, comfort, control and arm load,
- value for money and long-term use.
A recognised brand or high selling price does not automatically make a product the best choice for every player. The aim is to find equipment that suits the player, intended use and personal budget.
