The Babolat Jetstream 83 is the heaviest and most powerful model of the new 2025 Jetstream series – and at the same time the most versatile. At approximately 83 grams frame weight with even balance it covers all playing situations: powerful smashes and strong clears from the rear court, precise drives in the midcourt, reactive defensive play at the net. Medium-stiff shaft with Metricflex technology, Aero+ Slim-T for optimised aerodynamics and SMAC for increased frame durability up to 12 kg. Colour gold-black. Made in China.

What distinguishes the Jetstream 83 from the lighter Jetstream 80 is the even balance and higher frame weight. The even balance distributes the weight evenly between head and grip – giving the racket swing mass for more powerful smashes and clears while maintaining good reactive speed for fast doubles exchanges. Four grams more frame weight than the Jetstream 80 may sound like little – but in playing feel it makes a clearly perceptible difference in stroke stability and power transfer with such a light racket. Aero+ integrates the grommets into the frame for less air resistance and higher racket head speed. Slim T combines a particularly slim 6.5mm shaft with a narrow T-joint for maximum aerodynamics on the swing-through. Metricflex optimises flexibility along the shaft depending on shot type – on clears it flexes more for a pronounced whipping effect, on drives it responds more directly. The result is an even, comfortable playing feel across all shot types. SMAC is a particularly robust and high-performance frame material that makes the Jetstream 83 more resilient and tolerates string tensions up to 12 kg long-term without difficulty. The Maneuverability Optimizer improves handling for precise responsiveness to every stroke movement.
