The Babolat Jetstream 74 is the successor to the popular Satelite Gravity 74 – and it improves on it in all relevant areas. At just approximately 74 grams frame weight it is the lightest racket in the Babolat badminton range. Head-light balance and medium-stiff shaft make it the specialist for doubles and mixed – fast-reacting at the net, precise in the drive area, reliable in defence. New are the enlarged sweet spot through the Shot Optimizer System and the improved aerodynamics through the Slim T-Technology. Colour white-gold. Made in China.

The Shot Optimizer System is the central new feature of the Jetstream 74. The enlarged sweet spot makes the racket significantly more forgiving than its predecessor – even imperfectly struck shuttles land with good control and energy on the other side of the net. This is particularly valuable in fast doubles play where there's no time for optimal stroke preparation. Slim T-Technology refines the aerodynamic properties through a particularly narrow T-joint – the connection piece between shaft and frame. Less air resistance means higher racket head speed with the same power input – directly noticeable on fast drives and net counters. The head-light balance deliberately places the weight towards the grip for maximum reactive speed on short stroke movements. The medium-stiff shaft is comfortable and accessible – it forgives technical inaccuracies and makes the Jetstream 74 interesting for less experienced players too. We recommend a string tension of 10.5 kg – up to 12 kg is possible.
